XO Marriage Conference Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for serving at the XO Marriage Conference event.

EVENT DATE, LOCATION & TIME
  • Date: Saturday, March 23, 2019
  • Location: Rock Church, 2277 Rosecrans, San Diego, CA 92106
  • Volunteer Time: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; you will be serving in shifts during this time frame and enjoying the conference as much as possible. 
  • All Hands Call time is 7am
  • Check-In: Please stop at Guest Central just outside the security desk before going to serve in an area. 

Main Serving Opportunities include:

  • Saturday, March 23: Check In/Registration, Food & Hospitality, Usher/Greeter, Bookstore

Additional Serving Opportunities  include:

  • Thursday, March 21: Registration Gift Bag Set up (1pm -5pm) 
  • Thursday, March 21: Evening event set up (5pm - 8pm) 
  • Friday, March 22: Evening event set up (5pm - 8pm) 

Each option below will list a brief description of the duties required

Volunteer Check-In time will be at 7:00 am the day of the event. More details to follow as we get closer to this event. 


Check In | 12 People
  • Checking In Attendees through Brushfire / Scanning Tickets on mobile device. Must be able to download Brushfire app.
  • Handing out registration bags
  • Answer General Conference Questions
Food & Hospitality | 12 People
Maintain snacks and meals for the duration of the conference in designated areas.
Greeters & Ushers | 20 People
  • Greeting Attendees & helping them to find seating in the auditorium
  • Hand out attendee gifts at the conclusion of the conference
Bookstore | 12 People
  • The bookstore is only open during the breaks, a portion of lunch, and at the end of the conference.
  • Assist with setup and tear down (1 hr before and 1 hr after) 
  • Help facilitate bookstore sales between sessions. 

Additional Service Opportunities: Thursday, March 21 - Pre-Event Set Up | 10 People
Registration Bag Stuffing (Thursday, March 21, 1pm – 5pm)

Additional Service Opportunities: Thursday, March 21: Event Set Up | 8 People
Help the XO Team with set up prior to the conference (Thur 5pm - 8pm) 

Additional Service Opportunities: Friday, March 22 - Event Set Up | 8 People
Help the XO Team with set up prior to the conference (Fri night 5pm - 8pm).
Additional Service Opportunities: Tear Down Team | 8 People
  • Tear down after event: bookstore inventory, linens, etc
  • Help pick up trash – getting campus ready for services
  • Discard of boxes
  • Tear tables down/linen
